In England, Christmas wouldn't be Christmas without mince pies. Mince pie is such a huge part of British Christmas tradition that it's hard to imagine Christmas without it. 
 
Mince pie is short crust pastry filled with sweet mincemeat. No, there is no meat in it. Mincemeat is a mixture of dried fruits, sugar, and spices.

This chocolate flavoured biscuit sandwiched with chocolate buttercream inside is one of the more popular biscuits in the United Kingdom for dunking into tea. It is named "Bourbon" not because it contains bourbon (sorry whiskey lovers), but because it is named after the Bourbon royal line of France and Spain.
